K Sports Hockey Club: new look, same club spirit

K Sports Hockey Club: new look, same club spirit

Matthew Sharp14 Jun - 14:00

We are updating the club’s name and identity, ready for our next chapter of hockey in our community.

K Sports Hockey Club is moving into a new chapter with a refreshed name and identity.

The club will now operate publicly as Kings Hill Hockey Club, abbreviated KHHC. The change gives us a clearer, more local identity and reflects the community we are proud to represent, while carrying forward the history, friendships and volunteer spirit that have shaped the club since 1936.

For members and families, the most important point is that this is the same club. Teams, safeguarding arrangements, member support and committee oversight continue as normal. The change is about how the club presents itself, how we are listed with partners and leagues, and how we build a stronger platform for the future.

Over the coming weeks and months, members may see the new name and branding appear across the website, social media, kit, league records, email footers, documents and public directories. Some older names may still appear for a short period while systems are updated. That is expected during the transition and does not affect membership, team selection or fixtures.

The club is also continuing to plan for its future home and facilities. We will communicate separately on venue and pitch developments when there are confirmed updates to share. Until then, training, fixtures and match-day arrangements will continue to be confirmed through the usual club channels.

Players and parents do not need to take any immediate action unless asked by their club captain, section general committee member or committee contact. Kit sizing, ordering details and any payment instructions will be shared separately and clearly.

Thank you to everyone who has helped shape the club to this point. This is a proud step forward: a new look, the same club spirit, and a place to belong and grow.
