This week was another headache for the club with the home pitch out of action, thank you to Matt Sharp, the opposition and others involved in making the games happen. The 10am start at Cranbrook was the M2s third away game in a row thankfully the early start made traffic easier and the drive was only 40mins from Cobdown.
The first half was a dog fight and KSports held Newenden to one goal having made a couple of chances themselves.
Directly after half time with the team playing hard and with belief that a result could be gained, Cameron M battled and dribbled through several players and the goalkeeper to score having been passed the ball on the top of the D by Andy S. One all, game on.
Newenden went back into the lead a couple of minutes later and then scored a further 4 goals without answer.
6-1 isn't an easy result to accepts for a team coming to the game winning 7-0 the week before. Next week we play Folkestone away and will be back on top form.
